Conostylis Silversunrise is a fantastic low growing Australian native, famed for its soft silvery colour of the foliage. It sits erect and stands in a dense clump, and looks excellent when planted en masse.
During spring and summer, Silversunrise is adorned with a spectacular display of yellow flowers held above the foliage of the plant, on silver stems that match the foliage. These are attractive to native bees and butterflies.
This delightful dwarf clumping perennial looks fantastic when planted together with contrasting plants with darker foliage, or when a dark mulch is used around the base of the plant.
Silversunrise is a very low-maintenance, frost hardy and dry tolerant variety thats well suited to any native style garden or one requiring little maintenance.
